Andy’s grateful for the set up they’ve made when it comes to making sure Reina always has someone with her — It’s been more than chaotic, leaving him and Rowan barely any time to spend with one another, but he’s more than happy to do it. With his “shift” over, he says his goodbyes and leaves the hospital while the nurse changes Reina’s bandages, meeting Rick outside the front doors of the hospital. Before the man heads in (and to stall so Reina can have a shred of privacy), Andy offers him a cigarette and lighter after lighting his own. He could use a bit of nicotine and moment to decompress before heading back to the house. Making his way further into the parking lot to avoid any more comments from ER nurses, And turns to the man in question. “You gotten any sleep since —“ He pauses, cutting himself off from actually mentioning the obvious out loud. Andy knows Rick will know exactly what he’s referencing, even if he doesn’t want to say it out loud. “I can stay a little longer if ya want, I don’t need ya fallin’ asleep ridin’ back later.” Andy points out, giving the man a look.
