oh hell hell hell
3. Have you read any of the books related to the series? yes! in an absolute hell state i went through stephen ambrose’s bob in high school, i’m currently slogging through leckie’s strong man armed, which continues to be insane because it borders on dry historical narrative but. leckie. the bitch is in there with the jokes all the time.
19. Did any of the series change your perspective on the historical events? How? added to my historical costuming pickiness. i now pay ultra close attention to bloused trousers lmao. i was a big wwii geek before the descent into madness, and have a beef with the military complex so i don’t know if it actually changed a lot. if anything i think gen kill made me have more modern military critiques, and speilhanks drove me up the wall even more about how us media portrayal of wwii remains like very centred on the us’s involvement despite their late entry :/ so basically there are 3 years of stories and battles from 1939-41 that do not get told because they’re not american centric.
20. Band of Brothers opening credits or The Pacific opening credits? to sing along to: bob aesthetically: pac
21. Are you excited for Masters of the Air? im saying yes on the off chance that tomberg speilhanks is Watching.
