To say that Rich was a bit arrogant was to say that lava is only a little hot: Rich Keller is a dick, no doubt about it. But given his circumstances, could one really blame him? Yes... yes one could because with all the privilege he grew up with, he chooses not to be or do better but simply succumb to be the product of his upbringing: a mixture of blessed genes and wealthy parents gave him his very appealing exterior allowing him resources to define his body at such a young age, his parents wealth gave him access to cars clothes and currency that fed into his self-important ego, and his family’s athletic legacy gave him a sense of purpose in an already heightened and exaggerated world focused on two things - money and power. So it was no surprise that although talent and conditioning allowed him to not only be the captain of the varsity football team that ranked nationally, but he attained that title early in his sophomore year, and throughout the subsequent years, especially that of the starting season of his senior year, he remained so without question. With the game now over, having received a record breaker for completed passes as the team’s all-star tight end and an unconventional captain, [again, no surprise given his size and dominance on the field], Rich led the charge back into the locker room with a roar of an alpha champion. “FUCK YEA!”
