Morty R-732: he portals in and smiles. "Hi! I've heard a-about you from a couple other Ricks!"

Rick was just about to put his plate in the sink when he heard the all too familiar swoosh of an interdimensional portal open behind him. Rick rolls his eyes, expecting it to be another Rick, coming in to ‘apprehend him for his crimes’ or some shit. When he turns around to see an unfamiliar Morty step out from the portal, he sighs in relief, not needing the pistol he had his hand resting on. 

At least he didn’t think he did.

“Ohho have you now?” Rick asked, eyes half lidded as he bends at the waist to be at eye level with the Morty. “And which Morty might you be?” He asks with a half-raise of his brow.

An Update From C-328

Ok I’ll be getting back to other RPs now, but all that i put on hold will have old rick, in his happy self

but the ones after last night’s events, he’ll be more detached and use sex as a coping mechanism of sorts if yall do fook

but he’ll still be Daddy~ he’ll just need some time to recover :’)

💖 How do they say ‘I love you’ without really saying it?

Hmmm. It’s definitely by his actions, namely his inventions. With @rickless-bastard, he’s made quite a few inventions to help him and keep him safe, like the mood stabilizing serum armband he put on him. At first he felt bad for doing it, Morty was mad at him, but he knew it was for the best. It was to keep him from hurting himself. 

And when he was with his original Morty, he was very much like c-137 Rick. He never explicitly said “I love you” to his Morty, but he showed it. There was one 4th of July where Morty and the rest of the Smith Family got in a fight and Rick didn’t intervene much, just a few snide comments here and there to keep the fire going. Needless to say, Morty was incredibly upset because he loved watching the fireworks. So Rick did what he does best, and locked himself in his garage and avoided Morty. Morty was heartbroken, even his own grandfather wouldn’t spend time with him on the 4th. But then Rick opened a portal in Morty’s room and only had his arm come through, gently placing a small orb on the teen’s desk. When Morty wiped his tears and went towards it, he smiled harder that moment than he had in a long time. 

Rick made him a little pocket dimension where all they do is shoot off fireworks. It was a beautiful landscape with hundreds of mini people shooting off wondrous displays of patriotism for Morty’s entertainment. It was Morty’s own personal 4th of July celebration that he could watch day after day. 

Morty came running down to Rick’s lab and just leaped on him, hugging him as tightly as he could, happy tears streaming down his face. Rick hugged him back silently, petting his curls, uttering a quiet “Happy 4th” to the awestruck teen.

That’s how he says ‘I love you’ without really saying it.
