hellooooo!!! idk how much you already know about avenue q, (and I don't think i know as much as i should), but it's essentially an puppet musical with adult themes :D
i love it, and it's been on broadway and the west end.
my favourite song from it is Time, but it was cut from the original and was put into the intermission for the west end version.
my favourite characters are rod and nicky, and i've got a rod ask/roleplay blog.
also, idk if there is more, but the actor playing Princeton and Rod (John Tartaglia) (also pinnochio in shrek the musical's proshot), and the actor playing Trekkie Monster, Nicky and others (Rick Lyon) both worked as puppeters for the Muppets and Sesame street (i think) (in the original)
also, Rob McClure (who played the same characters as both of those two people on different occasions) (Adam in Beetlejuice the Musical) (Nick Bottom (or the other one I can't remember) in Something Rotten), his wife was in the same cast as him in Avenue Q, and they married in the same year they were both in the production (2009)!!
