Honestly it would make him break down in a way too. He knows in some way how he treats MC is wrong. Since childhood he believed you two were destined to be together. Only his shitty ability to talk to his crush led him down the bullying path. When MC would inevitably snap at him and break down he'd be stunned to answer for a bit. Just kind of would stammer and try to find the words to say and explain himself. But how do you explain yourself when you know you've been a total asshole for over a decade and more?

He's flustered, akwardly trying to look anywhere but your face as he trys to explain himself. " Shit…I….I don't hate you…" He'd look frustrated of course. Course he is. But it isn't at you this time. And honestly the reason he gets so angry with you is the type of anger he gets is Cute Aggression when he spots ya. Your so damn cute and his heart always pounds so loud in his chest and his brain is near must. Just simply by existing!!

And its hard for him to put that into words. At least without sounding like some douchebag making excuses. So honestly I see him just stiffening up after his attempts to communicate fail. And he storms off to his office before briefly coming back and shoving what appears to be a journal. One he's always kept locked carefully away from any prying eyes. The only way he could show his true feelings is by showing you his book of love poems he wrote about you. And hopes at least in some way you get it.

He knows this isn't a proper apology. And honestly he knows deep down he doesn't deserve you. But in truth this is something he sees also as just a big bump in your relationship and hopefully the truth of it all will lead you too to properly being together.

so i know ricky was lowkey a bully jock in highschool, but could you tell us something he'd do to be nice to yn in highschool?

Well I can assure you he was a bully asshole to you in HS, but he was your ONLY bully. Anyone else who even tried to touch you in HS got a fist right in their jaw and a visit to the damn dentist. Ricky would also keep a eye out for you even if you don't realize it, too poor to get some new things or someone ruined your notebook? Isn't it strange how suddenly you got that thing in your locker and a whole pile of new notebooks in various colors! Some gaurdian angel that is c: And if he noticed you were struggling in certain classes he'd bully someone else into helping you lmao not do it himself of course (unless he bullys you into helping him with school work he actually doesn't need help in. he just wants your attention lmao). Also if he caught you walking home in the rain or snow he'd tell you to get your ass in his car and drive you home. Can't have his favorite nerd sick after all what would he do then! Be bored at school while your home sick?? NO THANKS. (though if you get sick he'd begrudgingly bring you the homework from class he stole from the person who was actually suppose to deliver it to you. )
