Riddle 4: In Ashes

The guests gather in the foyer, the feeling of death hangs over them. They all remain quiet as they wait for their host, wondering why they’re meeting in the place where their new friend had died a few hours before. Kamilah finally descends the stairs, and they all turn to look at her. She holds this murder’s riddle in her hands and she unfolds it as she gathers the group’s attention.

“Sorry we must meet here,” Kamilah says, referring to the spot where their friend had died earlier. “But your killer wanted you all here for this riddle. Now, let’s begin.”

She looks down and reads to the group, “Danger is my middle name, you don’t want to cross my path. Even though I wasn’t a major god, I still managed to live in a lake of fire and volcanic rock in the underground. Who am I?”
