It was odd to see people still traveling by horseback in such times as Missi’s but she guessed some people enjoyed it for the aesthetics of it. So when the woman came by on her horse she didn’t pay her any mind at first. Content to stay under the shade of a tree whilst reading her book and enjoying the nice evening out of her castle.

“O-Oh! ... Oh, my...” He swallowed, anxiously pulling at his collar as he looked down at the human girl. Centaurs usually had at least four feet. He couldn’t imagine having them all taken out at once. 

“That, uh- That’s some... awfully intense imagery, miss. Remind me never to get on your bad side.”

“ To my knowledge a vampire can become as powerful as they would want to be. Considering we can contact Satan himself and obtain artifacts and other things to help increase our power there really is no limit. As for steep prices, I am unsure. I’m what may call a non-traditional vampire and so I did not go through the same processes that a normal vampire, like my roommate Duke, might have gone through. A price is paid though for this power, but it all comes down to how strong the individual is. If you keep your self determined to live and fight off what comes for you then I would say the price is . . .relatively cheep really. At least, in my case. “

Glendale is certainly not the sort to be guilty about thievery. At least when it comes to the things that she has grabbed on her herd’s travels, which is - generally - anything that isn’t nailed down.

And, on occasion, things that are.

But Rider is Horse’s, and despite “borrowing” some of Horse’s things for what she would definitely consider safe-keeping, things she clearly hadn’t wanted back or she would’ve said something about it, she was... usually okay about not stealing things from her friends and family that weren’t giggle cakes.

So when Rider questions her, the gerenuk-taur tugs her ears, making a weird, high pitched, anxious sound in her throat.

“Mmmmmmmmmmmh I dunno I never saw no knives not a single one nope you musta got me confused with some other centaur who has a portal tummy full’a all kinds of interestin’ stuff...”
