Do you take requests for will pouters character in death of a unicorn?
𝐲𝐞𝐬 !!
I don't have a masterlist set up for doau yet, but I will at some point, I promise lol. 'til then, though, I am happy to take requests for both him (shepard) and jenna's character as well (ridley), so feel free to send 'em in :) !!
I suppose if other suggestions haven’t beat me to it, but some lovely R and R never hurt anyone?
You know, some Ridley x Reader? Pretty pls?
You got it Anon!
Warning: brief mention of loss of mobility.
You remember the first time you met Ridley. You pushed a lawn chair to the fence to curiously peek you're head over, wondering what the constant jingling of bells was. You spotted her firey red hair first, it's wild nature made it fall constantly into her green eyes as she ran from the bells to the wind chimes, her only goal seeming to be to get from one spot to another as fast as her little legs could carry her.
You remember the first day she came home in a wheel chair, the loss of her mobility had been hard on her, and she looked at the world differently then she had before. Yet it was nearly impossible to grasp everything that would be different now. The things Ridley could no longer do now. You remember sitting on the porch with her well the stars started to shine and the wind chime seemed to sing a sorrowful tune.
Then there was the Magic Misfits and the adventures of stopping evil and becoming heros of the town on a few occasions. Even with a crazy magician looming in the back of those memories, you wouldn't trade them for anything.
"Jeez you look like a dork."
You almost throw the bouquet of flowers you were holding right a Ridley's head. She had managed to sneak up on you and was now in a fit of giggles, you shot her a playful frown.
"Oh that's what I get for stopping to get you flowers?" you couldn't help the smile now. "Nearly getting scared to death?"
"Maybe death can give you some fashion tips." Ridley teased. She grabbed your shirt and with a good yank changed it's colour. "There, much better."
"If you say so." You hand her the flowers, and she plucked one from the bouquet and tucked it into your hair.
"So where are we stopping first?" Ridley asked.
"I was thinking, we stop by the magic shop and pick up a deck of those cards you and the others have been drooling over-"
"You know the way right to my heart don't you?" Ridley asked, knowing good well the answer.
"Then to the bakery for those muffins I have been crazy about all month." You said.
Tonight was something truly to remember. Because after a date that seemed so magical, yet so ordinary; something truly magic happened.
as you bid Ridley good night, just as you turned to walk home under the light of the setting sun, Ridley said something that will echo in your ears for the rest of forever.
