i never say no when a coworker calls out last minute and im the only available person to cover for them because i love money more than i love myself

a regular customer bought me a burger and fries while i was working a double shift today im so happy she said i deserved it because im always working when she comes in to shop

im starting to hate where i work like the atmosphere of the place is just unsettling. like i know im always being watched but i dont like being aware of the fact that im being watched. one of my supervisors was legit sending snapchat updates of the store to our manager who was out sick for a week. and now we have to all wear walkie talkies so we can communicate directly to each of the supervisors and managers so if they see you slacking off or if youre not in your area they’ll call you immediately and scold you or give you a write up. its like theyre all just watching and waiting for someone to fuck up so they can jump down their throat and write them up. i didnt apply for this minimum wage job to be treated like im in prison wtf

i cant even hide amongst the crowd at work anymore because even when im not in uniform or covering my nametag people who are regulars will still ask me to help them with something -__-

so im in the middle of helping this young woman ring up her produce because she doesnt know the codes and there was a guy who was literally staring at her ass the entire time he’s waiting for a lane to open. he goes into the lane next to hers and finishes checking out before the girl does. he walks around her while STILL staring at her ass, stops next to her cart and goes “hey baby, i see you got a lot of stuff. i just started working here today, you need me to bag your goods?” but she looked at him, rolled her eyes and said nothing and then left with. like ??? all i could even say at the time was “oh wow” because that was corny as fuck and was just so creepy and out of the blue. yall think i joke but im so serious when i say i dislike the Straights™

its crazy when i hear i hear all my female friends and coworkers talk about how random men are always catcalling and hitting on them, but its even crazier when i actually witness it in person like i legit get grossed out because you’re being and disgusting and sexual in public??? in front of other people?? like what if that was your mom or sister or girlfriend being harassed in public like that???? how would you feel then???

i know the kardashian sisters were related to oj simpson’s lawyer and all but was it necessary for them to even be included in the miniseries about that murder case and trial that had nothing to do with them?? like, way to give them even more unnecessary attention and exposure
