Rigel chuckles as he hands you his gift. As you read, he waits for you to notice him. He is seated next to you.
"Starshine." You startle when he calls. You turn to see him holding a gift for you. You take it with a hint of astonishment.
"A gift? For me?" You inquire, and he nods. As you begin to open the present, he smiles at you. You come across a lovely star-patterned jewelry and a star-inspired sweater dress as you go. As you gaze at him, he smiles.
"Do you like i-" As you wrap your arms around him and hug him tightly, he begins to ask.
"Thank you!" As you kiss his cheek, you smile. He flushes and laughs. He presses his face into your neck.
"I'm glad you like it, starshine…" As he hugs you tighter, he whispers against your skin.
