it's similar, in a sense. to the feeling of being powered on for the first time. a moment sought after — questions raised. for miku, there's no fear gripping hold of her as she makes her way around. she seems almost excited, welcomes the butterflies in her stomach wholly, distracted by every new thing she passes. earnestly, she accepts it as it is, accepts it as if it were something placed on her lap by her creators. surely, because they've handled everything else, this falls in those lines.
she can be involved with the world now. beyond her form on the stage, her consciousness just as restricted as her access of things always out of reach, she accepted that things were out of her control, and she never questioned it either. but she always wanted to be closer. as if her circuitry were rewired and she was allowed to — as if the restrictions were lifted, finally. how kind they had been to her !
her voice raises, hands gripped around a ceramic bowl with an intricate design of flowers ( —yellow and red and golden, blessed by the artist who'd brought it to life. ) "Rin! Have you seen this? It's cute, cute!" almost as if she hadn't realized they'd been taken without their permission yet.
hey, when did rin show up in this beautiful shop anyways? hey, had you even said hello yet?
"I love it..." her voice laced with affection, she holds the bowl up, gently, as if she were carrying a priceless treasure. "Don't you think this is nice?"

when Shaundi originally decided to head over to Victor’s to talk about the club, she had an idea of what she’d find. probably him, going over plans and the like for what he was planning to do with the Saints. maybe some business ideas GANG☆STAR, a way to expand their influence. or he could simply be relaxing with a few friends. either way, nothing that she shouldn’t see. her visit was to discuss some ideas she had for the club since she was managing it now-- mostly promotional ideas, maybe some design improvements to the lounge areas and VIP rooms. it wouldn’t take long at all, so it was better to get it done now rather than later.
imagine her surprise when she arrived and knocked on the door. Shaundi expected him to open it....not a girl who looked no older than sixteen.
what the hell is a kid doing here...?
no, it wasn’t weird or strange to find a kid (well, a teen) anyplace. it was a bit cruel to have kids being dragged into this place too, but nothing could be done about that. what was strange was that-- as far as Shaundi knew -- Victor had no kids, adopted or not. but she wasn’t around for over a year and things probably happened she had no idea about it. maybe a friend dropped her off he was watching her for somebody...?
deciding not to go over every possible scenario in her mind, Shaundi focused on what she originally came here for. one hand rests on her hip, body hovering just outside the doorway. “-- is Victor here? I need to talk to him about a few things.”

Send 📖 to get really bad advice from my muse
“Given your size and age, I think a knife would suit you best. Maybe even a short sword… Either way, speed is far more important than power when using such a weapon. I know you were hoping to ‘defeat people with one mighty blow,’ but most people won’t go down so easily. It’s about wearing them out first to make them vulnerable.“
… This isn’t really bad advice in general. But Adam REALLY shouldn’t be trying to teach a KID how to use weapons! That’s what makes it so bad!
“ Yo, kiddo. You doing alright? Figured I should give you a call before ya wound up having a panic attack over whatever they’re saying on the news. ”
