Project 2025 has been developed by radical right wing organizations - specifically The Heritage Foundation which was actively involved in the Trump administration and is funded by extremist right wing billionaires - to dismantle government agencies and/or privatize them by giving the Executive branch (President) limitless powers over them and civil service employees. And it doesn't stop there. It would eliminate many federal protections for labor unions, equal rights, environmental concerns, and bring to a halt any further federal government action on the Climate Crisis.
One of the right’s favorite fever dreams over the years has been to gut the US Constitution of many of its checks and balances and officially turn America into a legal oligarchy with a strongman presidency, nearly bulletproof legal immunity for the morbidly rich, and full personhood for corporations...
The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) completed their winter “National Policy Summit” get-together in Scottsdale, Arizona last week with Speaker Mike Johnson as its keynote speaker. This is the group that’s brought “Stand Your Ground” and voter suppression “model legislation” to Red states across America and, for fifty years now, has been bringing together corporate lobbyists and Republican state-level politicians to make state after state more corporate- and billionaire-friendly.
ALEC intends to slavishly follow the orders of the extreme right-wing billionaires and corporations who own them to re-write the US Constitution in favor of the obscenely rich and amoral corporations via a “Convention of the States” (all red states of course) for a Fiscal Responsibility Convention (how deceitful and pathetic).
If you think the MAGA party (fka Republicans) is in any way shape or form looking out for the average American you are so sadly mistaken.

Conservative parents, Bible thumpers, and atheist moles all gathered in Philly over the weekend to court GOP candidates and thunder against the woke.
Moms For Liberty Summit in Philadelphia attended by journalists and others who wanted to get an inside view of what it’s really all about. For an organization that’s only two years old, four presidential candidates attended it to speak. Two were from fascist Florida - Trump and DeSantis. Speakers also included those of the Christian faith who insist that only they can put our country back on the right track. Disconcerting. Worth the time to read it.

Earlier today, NBC News reported that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is slated to kick off his 2024 presidential campaign in a Twitter Spaces event with Musk. Twitter, quite literally, is a launch pad for right-wing political leaders. Also today, The Daily Wire, the conservative-media juggernaut that is home to Ben Shapiro as well as the political commentators Matt Walsh and Michael Knowles, who are known for arguing against trans rights, announced it would bring its entire slate of podcasts to Twitter starting next week. And earlier this month, the former Fox News host Tucker Carlson announced that he would take his prime-time-show format—a dog-whistling broadcast style known for its fearmongering and bigotry——to Musk’s platform.
Media should stop referring to these right-wing racists, bigots, elitists and fascists as “conservative”. They’re the worst of the worst in a free, civilized society. Modern day Nazis who hide behind “Free Speech” to perpetuate their hate, lies, deception, and fact-free manufactured culture wars.
