Finished reading volume 1 of Wuthering Heights. Holy shit, Heathcliff done fucked everybody up (while we're still at the surface!!!) and it ended at such a horrific and terrifying note that I know it only goes downhill from there. The poor Linton siblings' only sin was standing in the way of Cathy and Heathcliff's love. However, so far, I do believe that Heathcliff definitely prioritizes revenge over it, seeing as how he didn't just steal Cathy away (however difficult that may be in that setting, I Do Not Know).

The shackles are so close to being unclasped. Hopefully with this I feel more free and ACTUALLY more freedom to create and do things I really like from now on. Just have to get past this last, long-running hurdle.
