Sora's eyes widened when he saw Riku walking up to him. Sora had kind of, sort of, maaaaybe fled the scene after he'd kissed Riku (all thanks to that message he got forcing him to kiss the next ten people he saw), and hadn't expected Riku to follow him.

   Oh, crap, Sora thought to himself, torn between running away or staying to face the music. Riku was his best friend, after all. He deserved an explanation. Even if Sora had given him one. But - kissing your best friend ... didn't usually happen. Sure, he and Riku hugged and sometimes even slept in the same bed - but that was completely different! It was all in the name of friendship! 

 (And so yeah, sure, maybe sometimes Sora had thoughts, curious ones, about how it'd feel like to kiss Riku and Kairi but that was because they'd all been friends for so long, and everyone wonders about that kinda stuff sooner or later! It was perfectly normal. ...Even if you felt like you had a teensy weensy crush on both of them.)

   "Hehehe ... H-Heeeey, Riku," Sora began, greeting his best friend and planning on coming up with something - anything - to get himself off the hook, when Riku leaned in close and - 

 - kissed him.

  Kissed him. On the lips.

It wasn't Sora's first kiss. Not. By. Far. He'd had plenty of other notches under his belt, all thanks to the various anonymous and non-anonymous askers. Sora had kissed girls and boys alike - some were great. Some were awkward. Others were weird, and then some ... Some Sora liked to pretend never happened, for sanity's sake.

  But this was Riku, his best friend, and Sora felt his cheeks grow red hot as he swallowed and felt Riku's lips on his own. This was - this was kinda --- Sora could feel his brain coming to an abrupt halt, and he struggled to do something - anything - and was about to throw all caution to the wind and jump straight into Hell by reciprocating and moving his lips against Riku's when Riku pulled away.

"Pass it on to the next 10 on your dash."

And the illusion shattered, and Sora was left there with comically wide eyes, a tomato red face (he'd probably win the ribbon for 'best tomato in garden' if he entered the island fruit competition) and a mouth that wouldn't work.

"I -" Sora began, stumbling over his words as the implication of the words hit him, and his shoulders rose up to meet his ears as he took a step back. This was karma, wasn't it? For fucking with Riku so much. The message had come full circle back to Sora to bite him in the butt and Sora swallowed again. "G-Guess we're even then," He murmured, looking away and rubbing his arm, before reaching over and slugging Riku on the bicep. "Could'a given a guy a little warning, y'know!" Which was funny, coming from him.
