A toque macaque sits in water eating flowers at a pilgrimage site in Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka. The species, a reddish-brown old world monkey, is endemic to the country, where it is known as rilewa or rilawa. It is named for the whorl of hair on its crown, which resembles a brimless toque cap.
