Back at it
It's the last Friday I'll ever spend in my white privilege ass apartment. So, you bet your ass I'm pre-game and go out with my friends and celebrate the end of the semester. I'm highkey gonna miss all these amenities though, when I become an RA across campus next semester. Especially, when I look at our sorry ass pool and realize I don't need to swim that bad.
I just turned in my poetry portfolio and I feel like the biggest weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. I have a research paper due at midnight, but I'm surprisingly not worried. I feel like I'm just floating around tbh.
What's something more hipster than me drinking chamomile tea in a mason jar, while looking out at the city from my balcony? Nothing. 😂 I can't with myself right now.
Y'all, I clearly gave no fucks about class last night. This is my last semester of French and I am so done. Our instructor ain't even showing up, so I don't see the point of waking my ass up to go to a vacant classroom.
$1 drinks are ending me rn. I understand what Roth said about loving college.
I finally got to experience the 15 minute rule! I took the opportunity to write "We were here, fam" (fam not pictured) just in case our French instructor showed up after we all dipped.
I finally participated in French class today. We were listening to a song that intersects uses of different languages. My professor asked why that was pertinent to French. I explained that the diaspora of many people in western culture causes an intersection between languages and culture. I said something more in depth than the latter, but I made the class go dead silent. Everyone looked at me surprised that I speak and that I sometimes carry information. I was happy I spoke up though. I'm also like half-dead, so my brain isn't filtering as much.
