They are all anticipating Raul’s arrival.  Where in some circles there are gradual breakdowns leading to inconsistent, even shadowy, relations.  Just as they’ve remained in Raul’s heart for the years he went looking: inside the deepest chasms of his escaping, across a chromium-white expanse of giant’s bones, in search of any who might help him gain the footing he’d need to ascend –

To where?  Back into the arms of those who approved of his sequestered nature from the start.  At his social peak Raul disappeared for weeks rarely telling anyone where he was going or what he was doing.  Like Ley lines flowing in tandem with an ancient truth, Raul follows wherever it goes.  Proving that even when running in the opposite direction, amidst chaos & debt-of-life, they’re still bound to the same current.
