You know, I've been thinking a long time on this and I am sure that I am not the only one, BUT I do not fully understand why Rin is so loved in the Naruto community?
Like, do not get me wrong, she was a 13-years old girl, a child forced to do unspeakable things. Children being made to be soldiers etc., so, when arguing I like to take this into consideration. But, she used Kakashi to commit suicide? Let's ignore the whole history of Kakashi and suicide and just assume that she did not know because, honestly, it is irrelevant. No matter your personal experiences, having a friend use you to commit suicide is one of the worst things one can do.
So, knowing all of this, why are Rin's actions not as heavily criticised? And I do understand that she was not able to harm herself, but she was able to jump into harm's way? And the she chose Kakashi instead of an enemy nin?
