The Historical Short Stories
American Girl used to have short stories for the historical girls detailing their simple lives as well as some problems they may run across. However, they were discontinued after Kaya and since then no girl has ever gotten short stories since. I find this such a shame as I would’ve loved to see more from the girls post-Kaya.
That’s why I’m planning to my own short stories inspired by the ones American Girl used to have. I plan on doing some for Julie, Rebecca, Cécile and Marie-Grace, and Caroline. I also plan trying to get better at drawing again, I really want to recreate the realistic style that the American Girl illustrations once had.
If anyone has any ideas on a story for the girls, feel free to ask!
good news!!! yesterday i got the american girl pen pal pack! i always wanted to try pen palling and im so excited!!! what surprised me abt this purchase was that i got a free short story! (a reward for josefina) i will cherish this purchase as much as possible as i fear i cannot purchase anything for a while haha

feeling very depressed and lonely nearing the end of senior year… i planned on going to the american girl place on the day of prom however it was pushed back to mid-June
i genuinely dont know how to feel as i was anticipating that day for so long only for it to just not happen at all and now i dont know what to do…
after a long fight with itunes deleting my music and messing up the album covers causing me to have a mental breakdown, i finally got the sparkle, spirit, style! album on my iphone

american girl’s older illustrations fascinate me so much to the point where i’m actually encouraged to draw because of it. it’s gonna take a long time but i’ll get there eventually
