Rain + warmth seems to be what really get them aggregating

Her majesty and goddess always seems to be involved when the poddle is big

I also notice that she always seemed to have a follower with her. Not necessarily the same individual, but just always some other isopod is with her.(Can't get a clear picture due to the condensation)

I also saw one of the earwigs eating the liverwort leaves too yesterday:

She's already ID'd (a ring legged earwig!) but I wanted to share my pet bug Cheese

(The pic is from a while back when I first found her in my house, she has a whole dirt bin now)

Earwig struggles to share food. Gets aggressive. Isopod armour, however, beats butt tweezers.

Found a baby cockroach. Put it in the fern terrarium. Maybe a Gisborne cockroach?

And added some stale pet pellets for everyone to eat

Some time later an earwig stole that piece from the isopod :(

And the earwig ran under the log where the chonkier isopod can't get a good grip on the piece to take it back

They are most interested in the pet food crumbs. But they do chew at the cucumber bits too

Earwig prefered to eat on its own than with the isopods

Man, the animals were fast. That corpse seems to have already been eaten clean

Caught this little one feeding on the exoskeleton bits. Getting that calcium

Unfortunately this isopod seemed to have died. Earwig breaking down body.

Maybe the moult got stuck and it just couldn't toilet anymore.
