LOL this was so goofy to draw. I feel like in this AU, since Caine has been swapped with Ragatha his past as a human is really intriguing! I think maybe in the past he was abandoned/locked in a room for long periods of time by his actual father (paralleling Caine's AI backstory, and human Ragatha's abusive mother), and rather than produce a fear of abandonment, Caine instead thinks that everyone around him could betray him at any moment, so he doesn't trust that other people are being genuine with him. This contributes to him just not "getting" other people. And when Kinger keeps acting like a father-figure to him, it irritates him because it reminds him of the past. I also think his character model still kinda fits with TADC lore 🤔 he's dressed as a ringmaster--someone who should have control over the circus--but he's small and almost powerless in his situation.

Also I think the adventure for this ep was probably the same: they all get guns. But rather than Ragatha not caring and just letting the cast do whatever, she was simply trying to give the cast some more excitement than her other adventures, so she made a dramatic choice to let them have guns because violence is mature and danger is exciting 🙂‍↕️

Here's Ringmaster Ragatha:

I like the idea of her having a big bow for coattails hehe ^^. She's a bit more confident than how she is in the show, but like Caine, she is very people pleaser-y and fears that she's not enough for the people she's entertaining. I think she would struggle from her adventures not being exciting enough for the rest of the cast. I also think, unlike Caine, everyone likes her because she's placatingly nice. But perhaps in her Circus, the cast would slowly begin to ignore her because they don't feel like she's being genuine/having any real human connections with them--something she would be deeply afraid of.

I feel like "Rabbit" (aka Jax) as her bubble just makes sense (and this implies bubble would enter the circus in place of jax later 🤔 and would be just as much of a little shit) !! Instead of popping bubble, Ragatha just pushes Rabbit back into her hat. Her concept is meant to be kind of ringmaster--kind of magician- so the rabbit in a hat thing I think fits well hehe

Here's ALSO the swap in of Caine for Ragatha in this world haha. All the developers would still abstract (sorry Kinger) and the next human to enter the Circus would be "Ragdoll Caine" -> literally just his plushie form haha. Instead of getting a daughter, Kinger gets a son and we get prolly crazy father son arguments between the two of them somethin like "you're not my real dad stop acting like it" "I just worry about you sometimes" yatta yatta 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️
