I KNEW I WANTED TO BE A DESIGNER WHEN
I was always drawn to fashion and design, I just didn’t know what path to focus on. After bouncing around from fashion design to accessory design, even furniture design, I finally tried my hand at metalsmithing and it was an immediate fit. I like getting down and dirty. One doesn’t have to be as precise with metal, it’s more forgiving than fabric or wood. I also really like the freedom it gives me. I love that I get to travel around the world collecting materials and inspiration. I love creating something special knowing the recipient can enjoy it for years to come.

I MAKE MY DESIGNS SPECIAL BY...
I can’t render to save my life, so I usually just start with the stone and have it speak to me. There’s a huge gem show in Tucson, that I attend every year. It’s insane. There are thousands of vendors, from all over the world. There’ll be a booth of diamonds, next to a booth of beads from china for $.99. I spend days just scouring the show for things that excite me. Then I take everything back to the studio and see what happens.
