Seeing all these rings made me want to show the ones Lucas has given to his lovers.

Zai’s ring is simple, but meaningful. It also happens to be the ring Alistair gave Lidia (my children who deserved a happy ending) many years ago. My personal headcanon is that Alistair got the aquamarine diamond because it reminded him of Lidia’s eyes, and so when Zai is trapped on that island, she looks at that ring and is reminded of Lucas’s eyes.
