idk i believe in the creeds pretty literally but i also like believe in science and im not a young earth creationist and i also don’t believe in an eternal hell … probably pretty standard episcopalian

yeah i haven't asked a lot of people in my congregation but i'd guess we have a spectrum of thoughts about it. i am probably overestimating people's general level of room for interpretation wrt the creeds bc of my own skepticism and also maybe bc of how laissez-faire my priest was about the whole thing when i was talking about all my doubts with her lol. but i appreciate the variety of belief, though yeah idk anyone these days who's yec or believes in eternal hell (as far as i know)
