9:22 p.m. 🌸 “Hanami. A long-standing Japanese tradition of welcoming spring. Also known as the “cherry blossom festival,” an annual celebration about appreciating the temporal beauty of nature alone. People gather under blooming cherry blossoms for meals, activities, companionship and the beauty of sakura trees. Mother and I won’t be staying in Tokyo for Hanami. We’ll be making a trip to obaasan’s (grandmother’s) over in Takaharu-cho, Miyazaki. ”
