i’m such a chronic “stays up till 2-3 am person” and i think rin probably also has a bit of insomnia which he handles somewhat well so he has enough energy to go through his pro athlete days but whenever we’re both just incapable of sleeping and staring at the ceiling, we put on some soft music and sometimes i sing along while playing with his hair till he falls asleep. and then i can fall asleep to the sound of him breathing next to me and how warm he is.

when it comes to getting up in the morning, unless i have an early appointment or early dance practice rin is pretty much always the first one up in the morning. he gets ready and lets me sleep in a bit but he always has an eye on my schedule so he knows when to get me out of bed. he will turn on the coffee machine, pull me espresso shots and make me an iced coffee every morning while he makes himself a tea. and gently wakes me up over the scent of coffee and whichever sirup i have at home at the time. if i am in charge of waking us both up, we’re usually both still in bed and i just cuddle into him, run my fingers along his arms and stare at him (like have you seen him he’s so pretty eughh) which he always gives me a surprised look for like i’m not always staring at him and then we get up together after three rounds of me whining for five more minutes.

very generally speaking it’s always some kind of rooftop (in almost every au of us there’s one with significance). in the one i’ve spoken most about, the canonverse lore, it’s the roof of u.a. where he’s caught me climbing up at least a couple times (i start living at u.a. before the kamino incident and dorms for reasons -> will elaborate at some point) and once we remeet as adults whenever something shakes me that’s where he knows to find me. on the roof looking at the sun go down or watching the stars appear in the night sky.

i am such a shoulders girl and that goes for rumi as well, i think her shoulders are sooo soft and toned and i’d love tracing along her demon marks, trailing them with kisses, leaving my own marks on them. in that same vein i am worshipping her neck and collarbones idk they are so sexy to me and you cannot pull me off of her once i start trailing kisses.

i think rumi’s favorite body part of mine to worship is probably my waist and with that the curve of my hip. in my mind she’s so worried at first because her being half demon makes her a bit stronger but the moment she realizes that im into it, gripping into the flesh there would make her feral. she will also in a gentler way leave trails of kisses there the most i think, especially because she knows it’s something i am a bit insecure about. i think she also goes insane about the fact that i shiver whenever he fingers ghost over the skin.

part three of halloween thoughts because i have too many potential costumes in mind… but rin and i would totally eat as christine and the phantom from the phantom of the opera (he would only do it if i drag him to the college party that we i planned to attend -> and promise him that he will only have to wear the mask for it)

he ends up going all out though and actually makes his costume so so movie accurate AND he also helps me curl my hair to look like emmy rossum’s in the movie (assuming i have my natural hair color at that time)

hmm tbh i don’t see either of us being scared of storms or thunder or such…. i do love to watch storms and while rin probably doesn’t see much of the appeal he enjoys the quiet moment of us standing against our window and watch the heavy rain clatter against it. he will also be relentlessly mocked when he gets startled by thunder hitting a bit closer than he expected (all jokingly of course) we’ll spend most of the night in bed with the sound of the rain in the background while we watch some horror movie rin picked out

i think with toukenz it’s mostly him who’s more protective BUT he tries so hard to make it see like he isn’t especially when we’re not officially dating yet. he’ll always keep an eye out when we’re out late, so he can step in when necessary, but if asked he’ll always claim that he doesn’t actually give a fuck. i’m obviously also protective of him but maybe less overtly than him, i will chew people out for disrespecting him, but in terms of if him being flirted with i genuinely do not care, im not that much of a jealous person and will only say something if he for any reason can’t do it himself (which is rarely). i will however ALWAYS chew out his father if he makes a albeit rare appearance in his life. i do not play about shitty fathers i fear and especially with touya it’s very much vice versa like like my dad would HATE to see touya coming (he has decked him before)

with rin, at least i think, it’s kind of equal. we’re both very protective of each others and our shared privacy so we both are known to chew out paparazzi or interviewers (especially once he’s gone pro) -> he has a bit more of a short fuse than me, especially because i’m very scared of confrontation. but i do not shy away from it when it’s for his sake (i lwk think he appreciates that a lot because he usually feels like he has nobody really on his side with everyone always viewing his career as lesser to sae). on a totally different plane i think rin is also extremely protective of my wellbeing and is always on my ass about healthier habits (makes me drink enough water throughout the day and chews me out for forgetting/skipping meals). i’m kind of the same way though that i remind him to take breaks, let his muscles rest and not overdo it during drills or training.

selfshipmas 2025 ✧ day two ✧

it's time for a movie date! do you and your f/o choose to watch a movie at home or in theaters? what snacks do you have? is it a winter or holiday movie, or something else entirely? have you seen the movie before?

i think there is little in our relationship rin and i take as seriously as the movies we watch together. we are both such homey people that usually prefer a stay-in date over going out (though we do go out here and there too). but in general each season has a curated vibe, mostly by me, which movies need to abide by. christmas, to me at least, and by definition winter as a whole is the coziest season to me and it’s reflected in the movies i pick out for us.

there’s of course your christmas classics like home alone, santa clause, a christmas carol movie -> which i refuse to watch any other version of except the objectively perfect barbie movie of it and of course my (and rin’s) favorite christmas movie a nightmare before christmas!!

of course we watch a lot of just winter coded movies like barbie magic of the pegasus (which rin ironically ends up enjoying A LOT), rise of the guardians (hello? jack frost, duh), corpse bride, edward scissorhands etc. rin most definitely sneaks in at least one or two horror movies that are loosely christmas or winter themed. his favorite being the shining which we watch every year because ofc there’s snow in it and a family, so christmas :) which by that logic to me means watching the empire strikes back because they start off on an ice/snow planet heheh -> we end up discussing whether it counts for half an hour whenever either one of us suggests something BUT we always end up watching the movie anyway. there is so many more movies that we watch or rewatch during the winter like you’d think we have all the time in the world, but we just don’t play about movie dates!!

we always end up spending like three hours on every movie because i start talking about a theory or a set or some kind of directors choice and rin silently pauses the movie so we don’t miss half of it. he always joins in with his own thoughts though, even if it’s a movie he previously called silly *couch* barbie movies *cough*

snacks is another thing we take super seriously!! we go shopping the day of a planned movie night and otherwise also always have classic movie snacks on hand. popcorn is a must (sweet and salty mixed OFC which rin was disgusted by for a good chunk of our relationship), m&ms are also always a staple (the brownie ones when they are in stock) and a huge bottle of cherry dr pepper shared between us <3 sometimes we make themed snacks beforehand too. for example for the shining i made the maze from the end of the movie out of brownies with powdered sugar for the snow (+ a jack torrance head made out of white chocolate in the middle of it -> sometimes rin wonders if i’m okay in the head lmao), or for the nightmare before christmas i made pumpkin shaped cookies with little santa hats that i drew on with icing hehe)
