Huge fan of how in Shadowbringers when the WoL and Ardbert make the decision to go to the Tempest, they're both like "Yeah!! Hell yeah!" and make to go on their merry way without even thinking of getting the Scions first, and when the Scions very reasonably intercept WoL at the amaro launch they're like "right so how are you gonna. get underwater. On an amaro" and you can just *tell* the WoL and Ardbert had not thought about that part. It's so perfect. It's so Azem. Two shards of the same fuckin guy (gender agnostic) on the same wavelength and not a brain cell in sight
EDIT: hello my friends. Please understand this is a joke post made while idly brainstorming and not a substantive critique of the plot point mentioned, or, in fact, a critique at all. See also my reblog from further down:
this is really funny as well because I did take both this gameplay aspect and the Kojin blessing into account when making my post but I'm honestly pretty sure, by way of the I Would Simply Handle It Principle, that this would be secondary justification that they would bring up after having already attempted it. sure, the knowledge is kicking around in their brains, but they're living on the edge. they're full of verve to pursue the heroic course they've decided upon. No rules just right outback monster factory vibes up in that headspace
additionally what I find funniest about their plan is that it looks absolutely insane from an outside perspective even though yes, it does make sense and is somewhat salient, when considering all the knowledge they would have that would subconsciously lead to what they did
