Audelia had plenty of time before her deadline to copy and send out the papers required, however, she always liked to be ahead of the schedule. So with the new copies in hand, she decided it best to deliver them all in person so those higher up would get to know her face. As she strode down a narrow hall of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, a figure stood in her way. “Pardon... me.” The ‘me’ came out as a rush of breath, the surprise clear on her face. Until that moment, she’d been looking past the figure, too focused on her job. But when she looked at him, she froze. Of course she knew Rion worked in her department, they’d seen each other enough at meetings, but never had they met one-on-one.

zeus   hasn’t   been   around   rion   as   much   as   he   used   to   back   when   he   was   in   a   relationship;   he   felt   awkward   being   around   her   when   he   was   single   &   sober,   specially   now   that   he   knew   what   she   looked   like   under   her   clothes.   it   wasn’t   that   he   regretted   their   nights   together,   per   se.   it   was   just   that   sober   zeus   was   a   lot   less   vengeful   than   drunk   him.   that   night,   however,   missing   her   wins   over   his   need   for   distance.   so,   he   texts   her   to   come   over,   orders   in   her   favorite   take   out,   and   then   spends   thirty   minutes   browsing   netflix   trying   to   find   a   good   movie   for   them   to   watch   before   finally   giving   up.   he   jumps   at   the   knock   on   his   apartment   door,   stretching   his   arms   as   he   tries   to   shake   off   the   awkwardness   in   his   limbs.   ❛   hey,   come   in.   ❜   zeus   grinned.   ❛   fair   warning,   this   is   my   first   baby-free   weekend   this   month   so   i   went   all   out,   even   kicked   my   rommate   out   for   the   night   and   everything.   ❜  /   closed   starter   for   @rionhq​
