*Tal’kaela thanked the Elements that her people had the technology to erase burn scars as a nurse carefully treated the burn wounds on her shoulder, upper chest, and jaw.  She wasn’t sure what had happened to make her shuttle’s panel explode like it did, but she was certain it wasn’t operator error.  The uhlan had a sneaking suspicion that it was sabotage, though she didn’t believe she was the intended victim.  The challenge would be convincing her superiors of that; those she had told already didn’t seem to believe her.*

*As if the Elements could hear her thoughts, it happened to be at that moment that Riov Toreth walked into sickbay* Riov! *The uhlan squeaked before thinking* Ah… Sir. *She glanced away as the nurse told her to stop moving so he could treat her neck and shoulder*
