Guys, PSA, Misfits Market recectly added an AI feature that adds random shit to your cart based on your past purchases.
With the way misfits works, once your shopping window has closed it checks out, charges you, and delivers anything that was in your cart.
So this AI update means that the app will effectively just buy shit automatically, without your knowledge, without you ever opening the app!!!!!!!! I do not want AI using my credit card man fuck this
I had this app downloaded for whenever my car was out of commission and I needed stuff from anywhere too far to bike to. I used it once every couple months. And then I noticed it stole 43 fucking dollars from me and bought a bunch of shit I never even put in my cart and got it delivered to a house I don't even live in anymore 🙃 no I can't dispute the charge
