Well damn. My mom and I were just talking about a hypothetical Everybody Loves Raymond revival the other day and now I read that Doris Roberts died.
Mom just called and told me that my cat Doris, who I’ve had for 14 years, is dead. Apparently someone at our summerhouse, where mom and Doris have been for a while, put out rat poison and Doris ate some of it and started throwing up blood and then blood started coming out of her nose and ears and ass and there was nothing the vet could do so they had to to put her down.
My great Aunt Doris passed away tonight. May she rest in peace, and even though I will miss her, I thank God she's no longer in pain.
