Okay but Lightwood family dinner with Mag being there as official boyfriend of Alec. Jace asks daddy to pass the salt, three hands reach for it, everyone stares at Alec and Magnus awkwardly, no one even KNEW Jace was dating them. Gimmecawkward dinner + aftermath at the loft, embarrassed Jace with his boyfriends trying to make it up to him?
When Jace thought what it would be like to come out to his the two wonderful people who took him in, he was worried at first because it's Alec who is his parabatai and Magnus who is old enough to be his great great great great great grand uncle. Then again Magnus is dating Alec a-
"daddy can you pass the salt?"
'shit did I just say that out loud' Jace thought to himself as he looks down at his food. 'dammit I am an idiot.' after his internal struggles, he eventually looks up and sees Magnus, Alec and Robert all frozen as their arms shot out for the salt.
"well this is gonna be awkward"
Jace glares at Izzy before looking at the situation in front of him. Robert looks confused at what's going on, Alec and Magnus are both growling at each other, Maryse who is a strong hard headed woman is trying to laugh and Izzy is trying to leave but is being held down by Maryse.
"I can explain"
Before Robert could open up his mouth, Magnus growls.
"I'm his daddy! Well I prefer being a sugar daddy but he barely let's me spend any money on him"
Alec growls right back.
"no I'm his daddy. I thought we agreed since I had asked him out first, known him longer and took him on his first date."
"and later that night when you were at work he was screaming daddy"
Magnus and Alec start arguing while Robert looks on in horror as he realizes what's going on. Meanwhile Maryse tells Izzy to take Jace back home because he's not gonna wanna be here for what's about to happen. Izzy takes Jace back to the loft.
For feels like hours roll by and Jace hops out of bed and rushes out to the living room. He's greeted by his boyfriend's who look like they got into a fight.
"my mum kicked our asses for ruining dinner and embarrassing you. She also told us about the parabatai thing and reminded me of what could happen if we get caught"
"the lovely father of the year also told us that if we ever embarrass you again or so much as hurt you then he is gonna send the two of us to my dad and I don't want to have to go back there again. Worst punished anyone could ever have"
"well that's 3 dinners ruined. By the two of you. The one with Valentine shouldn't count because I was kidnapped and you two were forced into having a family dinner but because of how you two acted I'm gonna count that one."
"hey! That first one was all my dad's fault. If he hadn't flirted with you"
"you two were ruining before he even started. You two deserve what you got for tonight. Don't think I'm letting you two get away with it. I'm sad and angry right now so you two are going to shower, heal up and then we cuddle. You two are gonna be on your best behavior. Oh and I want breakfast in bed tomorrow morning. Oh and before I forget I'm sleeping in my room for the rest of the week. I would kick you to the couches but I'm not that mean. Got it?'
Jace smirks as Magnus and Alec apologize and nod their heads.
"good now hurry up. I'm going back to bed. Do NOT wake me up"
Magnus and Alec quickly peck Jace before rushing off to the bathroom.
