I miss my friend
Idk I can't stop thinking about the death of Maren Sanchez and how she reminds me severely of this one senior at my school that I'm friends with. Idk it's just so upsetting and I can hardly imagine what the people who personally knew her are going through. What a terrible tragedy
The people making the death of a 16-year-old girl into an argument for feminism need to stop. That is so disrespectful. A 16 year old girl with aspirations and hopes and dreams went to school one day, excited for prom, and never came home. She is gone, people are devastated, and you have the audacity to make this about feminism?!
A girl is gone, dead and none of you even care. You barely even know the real reason she died. If you'd look at her friends' posts on here, you'd know that the media is lying.
Just show some respect. Forget your SJW theories for one second and take the time to realize the fragility of life, how easily everything can be taken away. That that boy was mentally ill, and not just a sane misogynistic pig who decided to kill her because she said no.
I don't know Maren, I don't know any of her friends. I just read through many personal posts and it really broke my heart. I live like an hour away, but it still effected me. It's such a horrible tragedy and you SJWs need to stop being selfish. Please just be respectful.
I really appreciate all the sweet messages I've been getting about the loss of my friend. It means so much honestly, for someone I don't even know to reach out to me and tell me they're here for me is amazing. Thank you so much. My community, my friends, my family and I are getting through together.
A girl said no to a promposal and died. People need to start looking at life more and appreciating it. Especially on days like prom. No one truly cares what you look like, they care about you. I've had enough of society today. R.I.P. Maren S. And to the dude the stabbed her- enjoy hell.
On a personal note...
Maren Sanchez, who was tragically killed this morning in her high school in Milford, Connecticut, was a friend of mine. We were not very close friends, but all of my memories of her are very warm. The last memory I have is her rejecting a handshake and saying, "Sorry, but I'm a hugger." She was the kind of person that brought light to the lives of everyone she met and it is impossible to make sense of this tragedy.
In honor of the joy that Maren brought to people's lives, I encourage everyone to commit at least one random act of kindness. It is important to remind people that happiness and generosity can be found everywhere, especially during dark times such as this.
My thoughts and condolences go out to Maren's family and loved ones.
it's just so crazy when things like this happen, i mean, you always hear about school violence on the news but you never think someone you know will be a victim. my school and town lost an amazing soul today, and for the most pointless reason. if there is a heaven, i hope you're happy up there maren.
