Finding herself on training grounds, she had no recollection of what happened prior, but she recognize the terrain to be of Konohagakure's. ( She should be heading home; her mother must have been worried sick. ) When she turns heels toward the village, she hears the sound of sand nearby. Going to the source of the sound, she witnesses a familiar shade of red hair. ( Was the Kazekage visiting? )
She emerges from behind the trees, approaching him with the intent to greet him politely.
"Kazekage-sa—-"
She halts her greeting. When he meets her eye, she notices how different he looked. Much younger, closer to her age. His eyes intimidated her in contrast to the amiable eyes the Kazekage she knew possessed. His presence seemed scarier, threatening.
"Eh? You look different..." She backs a few steps away, cautious and wary of the situation. "You're Gaara-san, aren't you?"
