Today I learned that Jesse Lacey from brand new, had an inappropriate relationship with a 14 year old when he was 24. On top of that, he blamed it on sex addiction and narcissism. I am upset. I dont know if I can listen to brand new anymore. I really loved brand new, I loved them so much I named myself after one of their albums, but I cant let that shit slide. The more I think about it the more my stomach hurts; I'm disgusted. #RIPbrandnew

Last night may have been the last time I get to see @brandnewrock live. As they left the stage, a memorial was displayed on the screens behind declaring their disbanding in 2018. If this ends up being true, I'm glad I got to experience their entire lifespan and have their music exist as a soundtrack for me slowly getting older and confronting all of our combined fears.
