A stunning career and farewell! This is how we celebrate our loved one’s unique lives in 2020! INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Friends and family said a final goodbye to American race car driver John Andretti Thursday. A funeral mass was held Thursday afternoon at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral downtown, followed by a private burial. Indianapolis Motor Speedway shared images from the track of John Andretti’s hearse driving a lap. Andretti died from colon cancer last week. While battling cancer, Andretti started the hashtag #CheckIt4Andretti to encourage people to get colonoscopies to prevent and detect colon cancer. Andretti raced 12 times at the Indy 500 through 2011, and in 1994 he raced there and in a NASCAR event that night. He was the first driver to pull off the feat. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Andretti #funeral #ripjohnandretti #johnandretti #farewell #legacy #nascar #daytona #modurn #celebratinglife #memorial https://www.instagram.com/p/B8R3URGnZ6_/?igshid=1hzvbehvcej3v
