To me, Yu-Gi-Oh! was everything I had as a child. This anime/manga I grew up with, inspired me to become the artist I am today. The anime/manga/game lover I am. My passion for all I do and love started with this very anime. I remember 3 pm after school was the time I waited for and looked forward to every single day. (The time the anime aired in Arabic dub. ) It often felt lonely everywhere I went. At school, classmates would laugh: “this man looks funny, why does his hair look like fire?” as I was doodling a tiny Yugi at the last few pages of my school book. Yu-Gi-Oh! kept me going. The characters were my friends, the story was something I loved every episode, the game I learnt and tried to teach my classmates how to pay during lunchtime. To Mr. Kazuki Takahashi: Thank you for everything. Thank you for teaching me what art and animation is, for teaching me about friendship, love, sacrifice and games. Thank you for keeping lonely little Me company. Rest in peace. —Maya #高橋先生 #遊戯王 #yugioh #ripkazukitakahashi #ripkazuki #rip #kazukitakahashi #yugi #anime #manga #story #personal #mayathedragon #cards @procreate @apple https://www.instagram.com/p/CfuSTTnLOWy/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
