Thank you all so very much!

I would love to be able to send a personal thank you to everyone who has sent me note and well wishes so far today, I am not quite at a point where I can do that yet. I would like to take a moment to at least express my gratitude to everyone who has taken the time to look at my posts and remember the sweet dog that was my Sumiko.

As dog lovers we all know that our 4-legged, furry best friends are going to leave us much too soon, but we also know that the love they give is worth the pain we feel when they are gone. We also know that after the pain subsides, the fond memories will be with you forever. I have always believed that one of the reasons a dogs life is so short is because they love so hard. So everyone before you go to bed tonight, do me a favor and hug your dogs really close and tell them how much you love them! Their devotion is a beautiful thing and should never be taken for granted!
