Early this morning Nabra, a 17 year-old girl from Fairfax County, Virginia, was kidnapped and murdered simply because she was Muslim. Today we remember 17-year-old Nabra Hassanen who was beaten to death this past weekend after leaving a mosque with a group of friends in Virginia. The Fairfax County Police Department has arrested suspect Darwin A. Martinez Torres and are investigating the crime as a possible road-rage incident. However Hassanen's mother feels that this vicious attack on her daughter was a hate crime. "I think it had to do with the way she was dressed and the fact that she's Muslim," Gazzar told The Post.
