Lol honestly I feel like I had a pretty fair grasp on it until I got to Act 6. I’m still fairly early on in Act 6 though, so I get the feeling that I’ll understand it better as it goes on??

Even though the major stuff generally connects, you gotta admit that tons of the smaller loose ends can get seriously tangled :v

You know, actually, nobody does ever mention Gaster being a monster. I personally don’t think he’s human, but you’re right, it’s totally possible he is.

I'm pretty sure I read on this blog about a theory in which Papyrus murdered a Human. if I am wrong, or it was an Asker's headcanon, then I apologize for wasting your time.

It seems like it was somebody else’s headcanon.

I just realized something that blows a hole the size of your theory in your theory that Papyrus is aggressive and kills people, and that Sans would try to prevent him if he tried to kill again. I present to YOU.... THE GAUNTLET OF DEADLY TERROR! Pap turned it off of his own accord, and Sans merely waits patiently for the Player to die- even nonchalantly and jokingly saying that 'it doesn't look very activated'. clearly Pap could not kill- and, mind you, there are no signs of a breakdown before -

CONT. he turns it off. he just stands there for a moment. he doesn’t even shed a tear, or frown, or anything. he just… stands there, and changes his mind.

I don’t think this blows a hole in the theory. The theory wasn’t that Papyrus is aggressive and kills people- Just that he possesses the power to kill. Actually, Papyrus lowering the Gauntlet of Deadly Terror only supports our theory; he has the ability to tear you to pieces, but he doesn’t.
