A design I made for A ripple machine at my last job! A ripple machine is basically a printer but for foam drinks and macaroons. 🍓 This was for a strawberry choc frappe I had as a monthly special. I was disappointed that a lot of options on the machine were Ai instead of Artwork.

由以前在大牌檔茶餐廳飲咖啡，到了現在型格小店、連鎖式咖啡店成行成市，咖啡文化一直在轉變。以往飲咖啡選擇只是齋啡、花奶還是煉奶，現在由咖啡品種、烘焙，以至做法的選擇可算多不勝數。不過無論過去還是現在，始終不變的還是水吧師傅或者咖啡師的心思。
除了品嚐色香味，對咖啡沒有研究的人，Latte 上的奶泡拉花可能就是最吸引的環節。誠然 Latte Art 的確賞心悅目，有日本咖啡師甚至將 Latte Art 製作成立體效果，最適合影相放上網呃 Like。最近一部名叫 Ripple Maker 的咖啡印花機，只要在手機 App 挑選圖案或相片，就可以在奶泡上印花。每部 999 美元的 Ripple Maker 售價不算貴，不過廠商的銷售對象是咖啡店而非個人客戶。
看完咖啡印花機的介紹，發覺看似貼心的客製化服務，其實只是機械式的轉印技術。沒有了咖啡師細心觀察，跟客人互動和用心製作，所謂咖啡印花也只是沒有靈魂的裝飾。別以為每日接觸著科技資訊，就代表我是完全擁抱科技，認為科技應該取代人類的人。科技的確令我們生活好一些，方便些，更安全，甚至更健康，不過我還是喜歡人與人的互動，偶爾有一點甩漏有一點意料之外的驚喜。「不需要完美得可怕，太快樂如何招架…」
