“Huh?!” The male squeezed down on the brakes of his bike hard. The screeching sound of his tires against the ground attacked their surroundings. Even with his mouth closed, he still causes a disturbance to everyone. He dropped his foot on the ground from the pedal to station himself and had his bike leaning against his inner thigh. He then turned his body to tend the other behind. He was antsy. As much concern he had for the younger, his attention couldn’t help but fling back to their disappearing target. Who was a man who had ran off with a woman’s purse, and then drove off with a partner of his in a gray van. Unofficial police officer Kim Ji Soo obviously had to take the matters into his own hands. And unfortunately, poor Don Woohee had to be dragged along with him. A stress-relieving bike around the city had turned into a dangerous car chase. This should have been expected, as you couldn’t expect the male to just bike around for “fun”. Nor live in peace, really. “Come on Woohee, he’s getting away–” he’s so insensitive sometimes. He could just leave her here. The girl deserved a break after making her catch up to his high-speed biking. She was nineteen, she could handle herself while he went off. But she was also nineteen. The twenty-four-year-old couldn’t help but feel protective of those who were younger. “Sorry! Woohee, just hop on my bike for now! Leave your bike. We’ll get it back later. I promise. We have to hurry!” He’s putting her in more danger than just leaving her.
How the hell simple bike ride ended up in a freaking chasing?!
It was all his fault. He wanted to be the hero as a good man he was. And somehow, she got involved in. Somehow, she was riding behind him, her legs screaming for a break while she tried to keep up with him.
People assumed dancers had a good body, they were able to run for miles without a break but they thought wrong; dancers who did their cardio properly had a good body. She was one of those who would only do something once the teacher would actually make her. Hence why she was already getting tired, her speed slowing down after each push she gave to her pedals. And he didn’t seem to slow down at all.
❝Can you please slow down?! Honestly, my legs are killing me❞! She could also blame the previous day's dance practice. And the fact she didn’t properly stretch after that. Good job, Woohee.
Jesus. Why was she involved in this? Why was she following him and chasing the guy? It was because of the adrenaline she got from it. It was something different, something which didn’t happen every day in her life. And lowkey, she enjoyed it. A lot. Until to the point when her legs were still screaming at her even when they stopped.
❝Oppa, this was supposed to be a normal day! We were supposed to ride bikes with a relaxed mindset.❞ Something that they both seemed to need. ❝Not like this!❞ But still, she didn’t back away. Woohee still got up from her bike, rested it against a wall and then went to sit back to his; her arms wrapping themselves around his waist.
He was putting her in danger, but she was putting herself in danger as well. And she indeed enjoyed it.
