Hopped on IG and got the bad news. The Geto Boys (formerly the Ghetto Boys) were HUGE in the STL waaaay before “Mind Playin’ Trucks” and Red was a major part of why I got into them. His approach to production and deejaying added to the rugged, raw and unorthodox style of the Geto/Ghetto Boys legacy. I was fortunate to interact with him a little bit on social media and he was a really nice guy who was glad to share his experiences with the people. He really loved his craft and he certainly made his mark. Rest well Ready Red #Repost @jayquanva with @get_repost ・・・ RIP to my good brother DJ Ready Red of the Ghetto Boys.
