Totally unrelated to my last one, but like can you imagine talking to Pat in the late stages before you end up dating? Like you both obviously like each other but you guys haven't quite taken that final step. Like texting each other late in the night, obviously super flirty when you're together, and the guys are just like "jesus christ pat just ask her on a date already" cus they cant stand this mutual pining any longer

so like when it comes to the people he’s interested in romantically, it’s written all over his face. like the times he’s had crushes or been in the early phases of a relationship, you can see him just totally getting lost in thought, just staring in a way that you can just see the hearts in his eyes. like he’s the guy who will just stop everything he’s doing, just completely lose track of what he’s saying and thinking because ohmygod did you see her??? like homeboy is most likely to walk straight into a door or wall or whatever because he’s been distracted by this gorgeous person who’s completely blown him away.

Hi hello I am here to send an ask about literally anything else.

So hot take but this is literally the most Stark looking man I've ever seen in my life.

I have zero issues with any of the Stark characters casting (Cregan desperately needs some facial hair but I digress), but literally any other Stark mentioned that we've never seen properly on screen all just look like some variation of Benjen in my head. This has nothing to do with if he's attractive or not. I am just baffled as to how Benjens casting was literally as if they just blended every Stark man's DNA together and created a man thats the epitome of what the average Stark looks like, in a fucking lab.

I agree, Cregan definitely needs facial hair, and whenever I write him, he will have such. Idc if anyone complains. He needs to have the scruffy beard or I'll cry.

Also, about Benjen's casting? You're so right. They did an okay Job casting the other Starks, albeit Kit looks more like satin than Jon but that's fine because satin's pretty. I think Sean Bean was a sound choice for Ned, too. Tom Taylor as Cregan? Could be a bit better, I think. Maybe someone a little older, perhaps? And someone with facial hair, but y'know. You can't complain all too much.

But honestly, I agree. Show Benjen looks most like a Stark to me, too. They casted him so well and I thank them for it fr. As you've said, he is pretty much just the epitome of what the average Stark looks like

Sansa and Arya stans are literally always at each other throats. They cannot reconcile the other side may have some points. They're the same people who always refuse to agnowledge when their fave sister acts shitty and pretends it's always the othera fault they grew up the way they are. They act as childish as Sansa and Arya do but as grown adults.

Righttt?? Oh my gods, I actually hate it so much when people refuse to acknowledge when their fav sister — or just character — acts shitty. And with Sansa and Arya they blame it on the other sister like that's totally the reason they've done something shitty or that they grew up the way they did.

Okay, I'm not into Jace, and I also write experianced Robb, but here me out:

Robb being a virgin makes more sense, since he grew up raised by Ned and Catelyn. He's taught to respect honour both his own and other womens, considering in the books he marries Jeyne to protect *her* honour, not his own. So, him being a virgin makes more sense because he wouldn't want to put women in that situation at that point in his life, and is fine saving his own for his future wife.

Jace, grew up with literally no boundries about relationships. His father might not be his father, because hes pretty sure his mother was actually banging the commander of the city watch but he doesnt know if his father knows or if hes supposed to know. But then his supposed father "dies" and its rumoured to be by his mother and her uncle so that they could then marry right away.

Jace did not grow up with the boundries about love and marriage and honour. He just logically is more likely to not be a virgin because he didn't have good role models growing up in regards to sexual relationships. But Robb did, so he'd be more likely to not sleep with someone before he was married or willing to marry them.

I mean, my Robb fucks don't get me wrong, but logically, I think Jace not being a virgin makes more sense considering he did not have a stable example to grow up following in regards to that sort of thing.

Robb grew up valuing honour and seeing a happy, loving marriage between his mother and father. He had the better role models to value his own virtue and other womens virtues in regards to premarital sex. Jace did not.

robb was raised with ned & cat as example, and the starks are inherently respectful — ned’s parenting of honor aside. he seems like the type to save himself for his future wife. he was raised as heir to winterfell, he knew he’d have to marry eventually anyways, and that’s just duty. it’s not even mentioning his character and the way his parents raised him

rhaenyra has pretty much excused all of her sons actions/enforced no boundaries (aemond losing his eye example A), and that combined with his parentage discourse definitely makes me think jace would have experience. he’s a prince, he’d never be denied, and he’s never been taught anything different 🤷‍♀️
