I really love following your Tumblr,many reading the Ends of the Earth. Do you ever think you'll do a little Hiei art? I ask because he's my favorite.

But I definitely admit I don’t draw him as often. I think part of the reason is that I have some sort of psychological or subconscious thing about super popular characters. I tend to shy away from drawing them especially if there’s already so much excellent fanart out there! I guess I sometimes feel like it’s less intimidating and more relaxing to draw characters who aren’t drawn as much? (Like, who draws Hokushin, really? lmao) and  I’m just obsessed with Yusuke … obviously …

I do have a few pictures I’d like to draw sometime with Hiei in them. One of them goes with the Ends of the Earth story Crash. I just really need to get around to doing all the things I keep intending to do DDD: Sorry for being so slow … Thanks so much for bearing with me!

Hi! I have an old-man cat, and he stopped eating well a little while ago. The vet diagnosed IBD, so we started him on Pred, but he waffles back and forth between hating and loving food types. How do we get him to eat better?

Aaaw, poor kitty! Pred should increase his appetite once it gets working in his system. In the meantime can try warming up the food (just be careful that you don't make it too hot or you can cause thermal burns, especially if you use a microwave, which may heat unevenly and create super hot spots). Cats are motivated to eat by smell, and warming increases that lovely cat food odeur. Hand-feeding and offering small amounts frequently are two other methods that may help.I'd also ask your vet if s/he thinks pro-biotics and/or anti-nausea medicine approved for cats might help him. Some of the anti-nausea meds will also reduce any cramping he may be feeling. No one wants to eat when they have an upset tummy! Unfortunately sick cats are notoriously difficult to get eating, even for professionals :( Good luck and please let me know if this helped at all!

Sometimes, in the few and far between quiet moments between Incidents, Maria likes to stand at the bank of windows in the bridge and just stare out at the world she's bled and lost good men for.

Sometimes they're over farmland, and the patchwork of fields and towns looks like a crazy quilt made by some little old lady on an acid trip. Sometimes they were over water so choppy it might as well have been grey concrete for all the softer it looked beneath them.

But it was her world, and even the worst parts deserved to be protected.
