    Green eyes surveyed where Lena was point, an almost pout coming to the female’s lips. Sure, HERO could make it out there pretty easily, ( and by easily, she meant with keeping her phone dry ) but it wasn’t like there were going to be many others who could without getting a boat of some sort to take them out there. And really, who was going to give someone a ride to a shipwreck for all of a few moments? “Huh. Well, whoever put it out there is KINDA an asshole.”

               “ well, assholes developers can all fight me, ‘cause i’m going out there. do you think chiron will mind me borrowing a canoe if i tell him i’ve run out of pokéballs ? i mean, it is an emergency, right ? ” even as they talked, she was eyeing the boats. they were all occupied, but hey — if she had to bribe someone off one of these, she’d have no qualms doing it. “ you don’t have to worry about that, i guess. you could get there just fine. ”

   I am really fucking passionate about stuff like this, okay. 

   I’ve been roleplaying -- not necessarily fandom, I started with OCs -- for nearly ten years now. I have seen an entire lifetime’s worth of “more angst = better story/character” and I’m sick of it. If you’re making a character more relatable to you, that’s okay. If you’re going directly against source material to bend a character’s story to be more tragic, you need to turn around and walk straight the fuck off my lawn.
