He was snuggled up on the couch with Jilly helping her with her homework. She was struggling with math, “okay, let’s see here,” he said leaning over with his bottom lip between his teeth. “Alright, so this one right here.” He looked up as the door opened and smiled as Clarissa came in, “hey, we’re just in the middle of math lessons.” He turned his attention back to Jilly and pointed to the problem, “alright, this one is just like this one here. Let’s just break it down, okay?” He smiled as Jilly nodded and worked through through the problem before looking back at him for confirmation, “look at you! You’re better at math than I am. You could probably do math better than Ris too.” He chuckled looking up at her, “you have a good day today?”
