.10 "It Wasn't Me" After Rita cried out all her tears, she had nothing left in her soul but a desire for revenge, she needed to blame someone, punish, kill right now. And even though the puzzle didn't add up in her head, it didn't stop her from blaming the first person she could think of - Bembe - in the heat of rage and a sense of injustice. She had never trusted him, was always ready for his betrayal, and expected the worst from him.

And now Diaz has him at gunpoint... and no matter how much she wanted to believe in this most convenient option with the fastest solution, but Bembe was right - it wasn't him. Perhaps she had come to him not to really kill him as to baselessly accuse him and then be in the company of at least someone, because from now on she had absolutely no one left...

.09 "There Is No Past Anymore"

The scene in the prison that Diego saw deeply stuck in his head. He didn't know why his father visited that woman, why he was talking to her, and he felt as if his father knew her well. Diego knew that papa wouldn't answer if he asked him about her directly, but he tried casually. However, Anton was not going to spread either about Esmeralda or Rita, even to his son. Why would he? The past definitely won't come up again. The storyboard of what happened to Rita's mom will be later. Now, one thing is worth knowing - this is exactly how Rita found her when she returned home after escaping from prison. It's also worth noting that this scene takes place before Anton finds out that Rita has run away, so here he is calm and confident as always. It won't last long, however.

.07 "A Ray of Freedom"

To begin with, Rita, having been in a cage for several dozen hours, lost all hope that she would be able to escape. That was enough time for her to realize the intractability of the situation; to realize that at any moment the executioner could come for her. Diaz was already counting the minutes before her sleep would be disturbed by the ringing of keys, when suddenly… An explosion! Stunned, almost shell-shocked, not understanding what had happened, what it was and who it was, Rita stared at the newly formed hole in the wall. Quickly succumbing to some inner survival instinct she rushed to it, realizing that soldiers and guards would arrive soon. Looking out Rita saw the face of the one who saved her from inevitable death. From Clara's part: she and a couple of her rebels planned a raid on the coastal dungeon, where president sends those many who rebelled against the local government. The goal was to quickly and efficiently blow up several places in the wall at one moment in order to open a passage from cameras. Rita also became a lucky one in this attraction of unprecedented generosity, although she did not even know Clara (only heard). Why did Garcia plan this? After all, she couldn't know who exactly was in those cells. Let's just say she had an idea that she bet on.

.08 "So, what do you say?"

Clara's plan was not only to create a fuss, not just to free people from dungeons, but to recruit them to her rebel group, having an ace up her sleeve in the form of their gratitude to her for saving them. Almost all of them agreed. But not only out of gratitude. They simply won't see another life (they will now be constantly searched for), and in such groups they can try to get lost or sniff out a way to escape from the country. Someone really did have the desire to fight for their newfound freedom. As for Rita… after Clara's words she immediately refused, because she didn't give a damn about all these political strife. The country has always been like this and it cannot be changed. Everyone understands its mentality. If one is overthrown, another one will come. So she focuses her attention on surviving in these conditions, and not on their useless change. They went their separate ways for now, but Clara made her promise that Rita would help them with something when they needed it. After all, she owes Libertad a favor.

.06 "Tell me the truth"

The first meeting of Rita and Anton, which didn't last long, but made the positions of each side more clear.

Anton only wanted to look into the eyes of the one who committed such an impudent act by breaking into his mansion, but at the same time he knew exactly who he was going to, knew exactly who's going to sit in front of him. Not that he had any interest in seeing his second prodigal offspring, but he didn't mind just take a small look. None of them need this connection. Anton, as a person with a high status and a "perfect, unblemished" reputation, just needs to get rid of her so that unnecessary rumors won't spread - she has already spoiled his image with that robbering, which has been talked about for a long time already by people, he will not tolerate another gossip. And Rita didn't respect him as a politician, and now she disliked him as a person at all after her mother told about what he have done to her.

As for Diego, he didn't understand much of what he heard, but he caught that strange mood between the two. At home, he will ask his father about who it is, why he talked to her and about what. But Anton will keep saying "this is no one and you don't need to worry about her"

And Rita… Rita will continue to sit in her dungeon until the execution and think about whether it was worth it …

(I like how it turned out in this scene that Anton has never confirmed anything, but at the same time he didn't deny anything too - some kind of political or oratorical restraint is manifested here🙃)
