It was a complete coincidence that this prompt came up when I was working on this VP set. The general idea of the two of them getting themselves a couple pic was already brewing in my head for a few weeks now, and I know this is going to take a long while to do (so many screenshots and I ended up finalizing 29 of them, just 1 pic shy away from tumblr's image limit!), so when @takemuracreativechallenge's prompt for this month came up it was a godsend because it gave me inspiration on how they end up getting themselves a picture in the first place.

To non-Tagalog speakers out there, Valerie called Kerry "Kuya", which means "big brother" in tagalog, but we also use it as either a general/casual honorific to any male stranger/acquaintance, or something we call affectionately to any man we see as a brother-figure.

In my story, Goro eventually takes in mercenary work because, well, he's gotta get eddies somewhere. It helps that at this point Valerie is getting a good reputation amongst the fixers and fellow mercs alike for being a netrunner who relies on stealth, and she put a good word for Goro that he can put his skills from being Saburo Arasaka's former bodyguard to good use.
